TYLER, Texas — Officials have identified the woman who was killed in what it is being called a "vicious attack" by three dogs in Smith County Friday afternoon.
According to the Smith County Sheriff's Office, a 23-year-old woman was found lying in the backyard of a home on Northwood Drive in Tyler around 4:15 p.m. They say she had been attacked by three pit bull dogs. A deputy was able to remove her from the backyard. She died from the injuries, the sheriff's office said.
She has now been identified as Madison Riley Hull, of Tyler. She was dog-sitting for the owners who were out of town, the sheriff's office said.
