ROCKFORD, Ill. — The Nutcracker Ballet is returning to a local Rockford theater this holiday season.
The Nutcracker, presented by the Rockford Symphony Orchestra (RSO) and Rockford Dance Company (RDC) will return to the Coronado Theatre in early December.
The ballet was said to feature professional musicians and experienced lead dancers from the area's top ballet companies. Talented student and adult dancers from the Rockford community will also join the production.
The ballet was said to be set to Tchaikovsky's original score, performed live by RSO musicians. The RSO is directed by Music Director Yaniv Attar.
