LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Defense Innovation Unit, part of the U.S. Department of Defense, has selected the University of Louisville to operate a Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub for Kentucky, according to a news release.

UofL said this designation will bring Kentucky talent and technology companies greater opportunities to support DOD needs. The DIU works with companies to design technologies for national defense and operates similar hubs in Arizona, Hawaii, Kansas, Ohio and Washington.
