The New York Mets acquired second baseman Marcus Semien from the Texas Rangers for outfielder Brandon Nimmo and cash considerations, both teams confirmed Monday.
Semien has three seasons remaining on a seven-year, $175 million deal. The 35-year-old missed the final 5 1/2 weeks of the 2025 season due to a broken left foot. He fouled a pitch off the foot on Aug. 21.<
