That’s because if you’re traveling and plan to dine at a location of the popular restaurant chain, you might run into a “Permanently Closed” sign upon arrival.
Amid TGI Fridays Chapter 11 bankruptcy battle, locations are shrinking by the numbers in the Midwest.
This week, two TGIF locations in Missouri — one in St. Charles and another in Columbia — closed its doors, listing the restaurants as “Permanently Closed” on their Facebook pages. As a result, there are no more locations left in the state.
Meanwhile, per the restaurant’s official online tracker , there are only a few locations left in such nearby states as Arkansas, which has two locations, and Illinois, which has three locations left.
