KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Andre Bryant, the man behind Burger Boys, has teased the burger joint’s return after its location was sacrificed to make room for construction around Kerns Food Hall.
The Knoxville burger icon and “home of the free fries” was located on Chapman Highway for eight years before Bryant sold the parcel and closed in May to make way for another entrance to Kerns Food Hall.

“Tennessee is booming with new companies and new restaurants,” Bryant said. “There’s only a few that a have a story like mine. None of them were built from the ground up by someone who lived every part of the business.”
