A Miss Universe contestant is recovering after she fell from the stage and was put on a stretcher.
In an update provided on Monday , Miss Universe President Raul Rocha said that despite “difficult moments and unexpected concerns,” Miss Jamaica Dr. Gabrielle Henry is in good health and nearing discharge from the hospital.
“We will continue to communicate only essential information with professionalism, sensitivity, and respect,” the statement said. “While unfounded speculation has circulated publicly, our full attention has remined on Dr. Henry’s care and recovery. We are grateful that she is now close to being released from the hospital.”
