The price to ship that package through the U.S. Postal Service is about to get more expensive.
The USPS filed a notice Friday with the Postal Regulatory Commission asking for price adjustments for certain shipping services.

The Postal Service said it would not raise mailing service prices, meaning the price of First Class stamps — which went up to 78 cents in July — will remain the same.
The request for the increase came on the same day that USPS released it's 2025 financial report , showing $9 billion in losses in fiscal 2025. Unlike most federal agencies, the USPS doesn't receive taxpayer money to fund operations. It relies instead on revenue from selling stamps and shipping services.
