BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, Texas (KWTX) - A Central Texas man who brutally disciplined his grandchildren and treated them like “they are f****** dogs” is charged with three counts of injury to a child, arrest warrants obtained by KWTX state.

Cody Wayne Ainsworth, 52, is being held at the McLennan County Jail on bonds totaling $150,000, online jail records show. He was arrested on Nov. 22.

Bruceville-Eddy Police Chief Michael Dorsey learned of the allegations when he responded to a call for help at a residence in the 600 block of First Street on Nov. 19.

The mother of the children told Dorsey that she got into an argument with her stepfather, identified in the affidavits as Ainsworth, because of the way he disciplined her children.
