The two teams battled at the Pembroke and Area Community Centre to a scoreless tie after three periods leading to a 3-on-3 sudden death overtime period. While the Valley Storm carried the bulk of the play in the overtime and had several chances include one shot that rang off the post, they only count the ones that land in the net and that was a shot by the Islanders’ Holden Lucas, from Conlan Scott at 5:30 in overtime.
