Police have launched an appeal after a man was charged with murdering two women and raping a third.
Simon Levy, 40, of Beaufoy Road, Tottenham, was charged on November 20 with murdering Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo. He is due to appear via video-link at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
Police were called to reports of an unresponsive woman at a property on the Aylesbury Estate on March 17. Despite the efforts of paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, Carmenza, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Levy was arrested on suspicion of murder on April 1 and was released under investigation while enquiries continued, the Metropolitan Police said.
