The Oklahoma City Monopoly board, recently released, mistakenly features the Tulsa skyline, leading to playful exchanges between the two cities and a promise of correction from the game's producer.

Tulsa already has its own official Monopoly board, released in 2023, making the error even more conspicuous. The spot on the Oklahoma City board featuring the Tulsa skyline is intended for the Community Chest cards.

The city of Oklahoma City responded to the situation.

"The Monopoly board was not a City project and Mayor Holt did not see it until it was unveiled earlier this week. We still love Tulsa even though they snuck onto our board," according to a city spokesperson.

Tulsa added a playful remark.

"The only thing better than owning Boardwalk in Monopoly is owning a featured photo space
