High-scoring forward Mitch Lewandowski, who was the Toledo Walleye’s second-leading scorer last season, is returning to the team.
Lewandowski had started this season playing for a team based in Sweden.
The native of Clarkston, Mich. has played in 115 games for the Walleye over the last two seasons and produced 115 points.
The team re-signed Lewandowski on Monday.
The 5-foot-9 and 183-pound winger had been playing for Södertälje SK of HockeyAllsvenskan. He had posted three points with a goal and two assists in 11 games.
Lewandowski has produced 42 goals and 73 assists with 49 penalty minutes and has a plus-minus rating of plus-42 for the Walleye.
