A Florida circuit judge ruled to throw out more than 200,000 petition signatures supporting a proposed recreational weed amendment.

Smart and Safe Florida's proposal needs 880,062 signatures before it can appeal on the 2026 ballot and the Feb. 1 deadline is bearing down.
