TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Oro Valley Police Department says officers arrested eleven suspects during a two-day operation to crack down on retail theft.

The OVPD says they used research and crime trends to identify where local businesses were experiencing high levels of Organized Retail Theft.

Officers used that information to conduct a two-day ORT Blitz.

The OVPD says the eleven suspects face charges ranging from felony shoplifting, misdemeanor shoplifting, drug paraphernalia, outstanding warrants, and multi-state fraud.
