EVANSVILLE — The Evansville Police Department released bodycam footage Monday afternoon from an incident Saturday evening, Nov. 22, where police shot and killed a man at a home on East Louisiana Street.
Everett Nunn, 58, was killed by police after they responded to the home where a woman reportedly called 911 and said her son and husband "were about to fight."
Police said in an initial news release Saturday night that as the officer entered the home, a woman said there was a gun in the house.
"The officer then confronted a male subject who had what appeared to be a gun pointed in their direction," the release stated. "The officer gave commands to put the gun down before discharging his service weapon at the male subject."
