UPDATE: The 4th annual Hamilton County Christmas tree lighting has been moved to Monday, December 1, at 4:30pm due to predicted inclement weather, according to Press Secretary Haley Burton with the Hamilton County Mayor’s Office.
PREVIOUS STORY: Hamilton County is inviting the community to its 4th annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony on the courthouse lawn later this month.
The family-friendly event will include Christmas-themed activities, food trucks, and appearances by Santa Claus and the Chattanooga Elf. Mayor Weston Wamp and county officials will help lead the celebration as the county kicks off the holiday season.
Festivities begin Tuesday, November 25, at 4:30pm, with the formal tree-lighting ceremony set for sunset.
