NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - M.L. Rose is celebrating the opening of its eighth location in Middle Tennessee.

The neighborhood pub opened its doors Monday at a new spot on Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro. M.L. Rose founder and owner Austin Ray said he has family roots in the area, making this location extra special.

“I’ve been connected to this place since I was born. My mother, Gayle Ray [former Davidson County Sheriff], was born and raised in Murfreesboro and graduated from MTSU, and I have many special memories of visiting my grandmother here,” he said. “It’s a bit of a homecoming.”

The Murfreesboro location also marks the chain’s fourth opening in two years.

The pub offers snacks, wings, salads, sandwiches, beer and more.
