2Baltimore man charged with attempted murder after downtown Lombard Street shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder after a pre-dawn shooting in Baltimore’s Central District left a 31-year-old man critically wounded over the weekend.

The shooting occurred around 3:27 a.m. on Saturday in the 300 block of West Lombard Street. When Central District officers arrived, they found a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by medics to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Following an investigation, police arrested Sami Harron, 28, in connection with the shooting. Harron was also injured and was taken to an area hospital for treatment before being transferred to the Cen
