Frustrated Jim Goodwin has admitted there is a major mentality issue within his Dundee United squad that needs to be addressed.
The boss was left frustrated as his inconsistent side came off very much second-best against Falkirk at the weekend.
United have gotten results against the likes of Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen but have come unstuck or dropped too many points in games where they should be targeting wins.
“That’s a mentality thing,” the United boss insisted.
“You have to be able to do both sides of it, whether you’re an underdog going into a game or favourites.
“We haven’t been able to deal with the expectation that’s on us in games like the Falkirk one.
“It’s a real concern and something we have to fix really quickly.
