LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A new child care facility in NuLu is giving parents more flexible options.

Balancing work, life, and parenting is probably one of the hardest aspects of parenthood.

"What we see is a lot of different professional parents and different organizations. You might work in a hospital setting," said Tiffany Lewis, founder of Skidaddles Child Care . "We have a lot of professional families that are working two jobs."

It's those reasons, among many others, that make child care not a want but a need. It's something Lewis experienced herself.

"I worked part time, and there weren't really any part time child care options," Lewis said.
