There is new scrutiny in Washington over FBI Director Kash Patel’s use of taxpayer-funded resources for his girlfriend, just months after Baldwin County Sheriff Anthony Lowery questioned her appearance in a federal trial in Mobile.

The New York Times reported Sunday that Patel repeatedly directed FBI SWAT agents to provide security for his girlfriend — country singer and conservative media personality Alexis Wilkins — at events around the country and has used a government jet for some personal trips.
