MCPHERSON, Kan. (KWCH) - The Kansas Department of Transportation is hosting two open houses regarding a highway expansion study.
They say they are looking for the community’s thoughts on potential improvements along Highway 56, between McPherson and the U.S. 77 intersection.
The first open house will be held at McPherson Community Building on Dec. 9 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The second open house will be held at Marion Community Center on Dec. 10 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Both open houses will feature the same information, with KDOT project team members present to answer questions. There is no formal presentation, so anyone can stop by the event at any time.
