COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M running back Le’Veon Moss might not get an appearance in the Lone Star Showdown during his college career.
Monday, head coach Mike Elko said Moss is unlikely to suit up against the Longhorns, as he continues to recover from an ankle injury he suffered against Florida earlier in the season.
“We’ll see. Probably not, but we’ll see,” Elko said.
While Elko never laid out a firm timetable on Moss’ return, he said the program was hopeful that he could take the field again before the end of the regular season. A&M needs a win against Texas Friday in the regular season finale to punch a ticket to its first Southeastern Conference title game.
“Certainly, we feel very confident for anything beyond the end of the regular season, if that presents itself,”
