We're tracking a strong system as it moves through the Midwest, and it's bringing a pretty significant change to our weather pattern here in Southern Illinois, the Ohio Valley, and the Mid-Mississippi River Valley.
We will be monitoring increasing cloud cover that will give way to light to moderate rain developing tonight. This rain looks to be with us through Tuesday morning, and we could even hear a few distant rumbles of thunder. By Tuesday afternoon, we expect this system to exit, leaving us with cooler, drier conditions.
Looking ahead, Wednesday through Friday, including our Thanksgiving holiday, will feature dry weather and seasonably chilly temperatures. We're anticipating plenty of sunshine, which will help take the edge off the chill. High temperatures will likely be in the midd
