BRANSON, Mo. (KY3) - A Marshall, Mo., man has been charged after a shooting in Branson left another man injured Saturday night.
According to court documents, Michael Joe Dale Wilson, 62, is charged with second-degree assault.
On Nov. 22, officers responded to the 2400 block of State Hwy 165 for a call of a man with a gunshot wound to his groin. While on the scene, Wilson was identified as a suspect.
During an interview with police, Wilson stated he and the male victim were drinking alcohol for several hours in the victim’s home when they started talking about firearms.
Wilson stated he went to his apartment to retrieve an assault style rifle and returned to the victim’s house. Wilson then said he and the victim joked about Wilson shooting him. Wilson raised the gun to mimic shooting
