MINNEAPOLIS — Despite finishing with the best record in the league, the Minnesota Lynx will have the No. 2 pick in April's WNBA Draft .
The Lynx, who lost in the WNBA semifinals, obtained the second pick in a previous trade with the Chicago Sky. Now, the Lynx will have the opportunity to add to one of the most talented rosters in the entire league. The draft will be held Monday, April 13.
“We are excited to have secured the number two pick in the 2026 draft,” said Lynx head coach and President of Basketball Operations Cheryl Reeve in a press release. “This selection will no doubt be an important part of our future as we continue our pursuit of a fifth WNBA Championship.”
