Two years ago to the date, the Detroit Pistons lost their 13th straight game of the 2023-24 season to the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Pistons were on the way to losing 28 straight games in a true low point for the franchise.
On Monday night, the Pistons were back at Gainbridge Fieldhouse playing the Pacers with a streak of 13 on the line.
But this time it was the Pistons coming out victorious and winning their 13th straight game this season.
A 122-117 win over the Pacers — led by Cade Cunningham’s 24 points, 11 rebounds and six assists — ties the franchise record of 13 consecutive victories as the Pistons also hold on to their Eastern Conference-leading 15-2 record.
The Pistons previously had win streaks of 13 in 1990 and again during the 2003-04 season. Detroit event
