TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Salvation Army Tucson is inviting the community to join them for a free Thanksgiving meal this week.
The event will take place at the Salvation Army Tucson Hospitality House, 1002 N. Main Ave., on Nov. 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“For many in our community, this may be the only Thanksgiving meal they receive,” Major Andres Espinoza, The Salvation Army Tucson city coordinator, said. “Our hope is to offer more than a plate of food. We want to provide comfort, dignity, and a true sense of belonging.”
Guests will enjoy a classic Thanksgiving feast with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and all the traditional trimmings, prepared by dedicated volunteers and staff. The event will feature a festive atmosphere with handmade decorations, live entertainment and opportun
