WATERBURY, CT. (WFSB) - A 22-year-old man was arrested after attempting to rob a store in Waterbury.
Ethan Quackenbush was taken into custody following the incident at a store on Bank Street, according to the Waterbury Police Department. Officers responded to an active robbery call at 8:41 p.m. on November 11th.
Police said that Quackenbush entered the store wearing a ski mask and demanded money while signaling with his hand in his pocket that he was in possession of a weapon. The store worker refused to comply with his orders, and he left the store empty-handed without further incident.
Officers later located and arrested Quackenbush. Police determined that no weapon was ever used and that he was not in possession of a weapon during the incident.
He was charged with 1st degree robbery
