NEWBURGH, Ind. (WFIE) - Downtown Newburgh’s ongoing parking concerns were back in focus Monday night, as the city released the results from a parking survey from earlier this year.
The study encompassed the downtown historic area, including major corridors like State Street, Jennings Street, and Water Street, which also includes the popular Rivertown Trail.
The Town Manager says the results showed they have over 840 private and public parking spots available.
The study also emphasized the importance of things like improved signage, public education about where the spots are, and restriping.
