Another arctic attack is days away from blanketing Brits in up to 17cm of snow (approximately seven inches) weather maps have indicated.

The GFS modelling charts reveal a weather system approaching from the Atlantic, initially striking Northern Ireland and Scotland during the early morning hours of December 3.
