OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WLOX) - Ahead of the 2026 legislative session, state leaders are meeting with the community to talk about topics they plan to address.

State Representative Hank Zuber held a town hall meeting to meet with the citizens of Ocean Springs with a list of concerns and topics he plans to take back up to Jackson.

Over 60 people, made up of residents and local officials, were at the meeting, with Zuber and other state officials addressing issues on the local and state levels.

Main talking points included working to form a steady mitigation program for homeowners, making the state retirement system more viable long-term, and limiting the control of pharmacy benefit managers to help out locally owned pharmacies.
