The season's first true winter system will arrive just before Thanksgiving. Rain will start during the day, but will change to snow on Tuesday afternoon and evening. This will continue overnight with windy conditions making travel difficult in town and on the highways and interstates.
Snow will continue Wednesday and wind down that night. When this system passes, there could be approximately 3-6 inches of snow over the region. Temperatures will drop as well, with highs in the 20s for Thanksgiving.
