HOBART, Ind. (WNDU) - Two people are seriously injured after a crash on I-65 involving a two pickup trucks and a pedestrian working along the shoulder.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. Monday on I-65 southbound about a mile north of 61st Avenue.
Indiana State Police said the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling in the right lane at a high rate of speed when they hit a Ford F-150 that was parked on the right shoulder.
According to police. the impact of the crash pushed the F-150 into the pedestrian who was standing outside of the pickup, collecting debris in the ditch while working for Interstate Business Solutions.
The crash also caused the Silverado to overturn.
Police said the roadside worker was flown to the hospital with serious injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the Silverad
