The five Savannah football teams in the state football playoffs last weekend all won their games.

Bethesda Academy beat Pee Dee Academy to win its second SCISA state title in the last three years.

In GHSA action, Jenkins beat Peach County to advance to the Class 3A state quarterfinals.

Benedictine beat Cass to reach the Class 4A quarterfinals, while Calvary Day and Savannah Christian also advanced to the quarterfinals of the Class A-3A Private School playoffs.

There were some memorable individual performances in those games, as well as in basketball and flag football last week.
