Responding officers found well over 100 people inside the building gathered around what appeared to be a makeshift wooden cockfighting ring.

When police arrived, many people seated around the ring, along with bystanders, fled the scene. Officers were able to arrest seven people involved from across the tri-state area.

Inside the makeshift ring, officers saw loose feathers, chicken spurs, blood spatter and evidence, police said.
