SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department is looking for the manager of an apartment complex who they say stole rent payments and tenants’ identities.

On Tuesday, Nov. 25, SPD posted information on Facebook about Semekia Parker, 50, who is the property manager at Canaan Village Apartments on Patzman Street. They say she has a pattern of targeting tenants, and is now wanted for another theft at the complex.

Police say Parker stole tenants’ money orders for rent while working there, and lied about her identity in order to get the job in the first place. Parker also reportedly used a 22-year-old tenant’s personal info to apply for apartments without their knowledge.

Police say Parker has done things like this before.
