MEMPHIS, Tenn. — NewsNation affiliate WREG rode along with agents of the Memphis Safe Task Force recently as they hit the streets.

Investigator April Thompson aimed to find out just what the task force is accomplishing and how Immigration and Customs Enforcement fits into their work.

For nearly two months, the task force has been making arrests in Memphis in an effort to crack down on crime. It’s made up of several agencies, and people brought into Memphis from across the country.
