Severe storms Tuesday are causing thousands of people to be without power in Alabama.

Tuesday has been designated a First Warning Impact Day as multiple rounds of storms will sweep across Alabama, potentially impacting travel across the state. There is potential for isolated severe storms.

There are more than 44,000 customers without power as of 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to state electric providers.

Blount

Jefferson

St. Clair

Tuscaloosa

Walker
