BOSSIER PARISH, La. (KSLA) - A 66-year-old man is dead after his house in Princeton caught fire.
Officials with the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal (LAOSFM) say it happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 in the 100 block of Robbin Lane in Princeton.
When firefighters got there, they found the home fully engulfed in fire.
Officials say relatives were able to rescue the man who lived there; he was taken to a nearby hospital with second and third-degree burns.
He did not survive his injuries, and died Sunday.
Four relatives were inside the house at the time of the fire and escaped without injury, officials say.
Investigators say early info shows there were no working smoke alarms in the house. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
