MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas (KSLA) - An arrest has been made in connection with a stabbing in a hotel in east Texas.
Police say on Friday, Nov. 21 around 6:40 p.m., officers were sent to the Holiday Inn in the 2300 block of Greenhill Road about a man who was on the floor of the lobby bleeding, and a man in the hotel who was acting “aggressively.”
Shortly after, dispatch was reportedly told the man who was behaving aggressively had a knife and had stabbed the other man.
Officers found the victim in the lobby of the hotel with a stab wound to the back, police say.
The man who had stabbed him was no longer at the hotel, officials say.
Investigators were able to identify the alleged stabber as Ivory Miller, 54, of Mount Pleasant.
