Insane Impact of Des Moines has announced it will close its doors Dec. 17.
The announcement on Iowa’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) site noted the closure will affect 90 workers. Neither the company’s founder and CEO Tod Puetz nor President Kyle Ortmann were available for comment Monday, Nov. 24.
Insane Impact, 7700 SW 22nd St. in Des Moines, which makes mobile LED displays, was registered in November 2015 as Monster HD Productions LLC and was originally located in Urbandale, according to documents filed with the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office. The name was changed to Insane Impact in December 2015.
The company’s website features customers throughout the U.S. and locally, including Hyperion Field Club, Iowa United Basketball and Des Moines Concours d’Elegance.
