Retail giant M&S has announced plans to expand their vastly popular Food stores to new locations across the country. And several of the earmarked sites are in the North East.

For many people, Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without at least one thing on the table from M&S. For years, the brand has been tempting shoppers with its decadent festive food, which, if you've seen its famous TV adverts, will know is 'not just any' food. This year's Christmas ad campaign for M&S stars comedy legend Dawn French and as people draw up a list of their potential purchases for Christmas from their local M&S, the company has confirmed its desire to expand its successful food enterprise even further.
