KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - A killer is on the loose after gunning down a man in Kansas City, Kansas.

Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department are investigating a homicide in the 1200 block of N 77 th Street. That’s near the Price Chopper off State Avenue.

Just after 8:30 p.m., November 24, officers were dispatched to a shooting call there.

Upon arrival, they found a man shot. EMS quickly transported him to the hospital with a life-threatening wound. He was pronounced deceased a short time later.

KCK detectives are speaking with those on scene to learn what led to the fatal shooting and piece together who may be on the run.
