A man has been found guilty of overpowering his chemsex partner with two doses of an illicit drug to rape him as many as 11 times while unconscious and just minutes before he died.
Derek Rowley had denied administering the date rape drug GHB to his 60-year-old victim, who he had met that day via Grindr, in order to engage in sexual activity at his home in Gillingham.
Giving evidence over three days at Maidstone Crown Court, the 45-year-old insisted the man had asked to be "put in a K-hole" - an intense, trance-like state produced by ketamine - and then "abused" after they had shared an afternoon of "enthusiastic and consensual" drug-induced sexual encounters in his bedroom, living room and hot tub.
Rowley also maintained it had been left to his "discretion" as to how much of the illegal
