A teenage girl unlawfully killed her cousin's boyfriend against a background of "bubbling violent rage", a jury has heard.

Paige Poulton plunged a knife into the heart of Jack Cadwallader, having "snapped" in what was the culmination of a "quarrelsome and particularly fraught" day.

The then 19-year-old was said to be "irritated and annoyed" by Mr Cadwallader, who was in a "stormy" relationship with Poulton's distant relative Shannon Byrne, in the hours leading up to his death at a flat in Harrietsham, Maidstone, on July 2 last year.
