WETHERSFIELD, CT (WFSB) - An e-bike rider suffered a head injury from crashing into a parked vehicle in Wethersfield.

Police said it happened on Goff Road around 6 p.m.

They said the rider traveled north on Goff Road when he collided with the legally parked vehicle.

No one was in the vehicle at the time.

Police said he was treated on the scene, but had to be transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

They said the injury was serious but not life-threatening.

Police said they continue to look into what led up to the crash.
