A seaside town is set to have its first-ever festive shopping evening.

For one evening on Friday, December 5, more than 30 local shops, cafés, and restaurants will be open till late on Southwold High Street .

This offers visitors the chance to discover unique gifts and enjoy festive food and drink.

It also gives those who work during the day an opportunity to visit, explore, shop locally and celebrate the town's independent retail scene.

This year has seen a wave of new independent shops joining the seaside towns' High Street, from artisan makers and boutique fashion brands to local lifestyle stores and homeware specialists.
