Solvang is set to host its annual Julefest celebration starting Thursday, bringing more than five weeks of holiday programming, Danish-inspired traditions, and expanded attractions to the Valley.
Events run daily through Jan. 4.
At the center of the festival are the nightly Light, Music & Snow shows in Solvang Park, where two alternating 10-minute choreographed programs run each hour from 5 to 9 p.m. The shows end with artificial snowfall. A special New Year’s edition will run Dec. 26-Jan. 4.
A new addition is “Miracle,” a Christmas-themed cocktail pop-up bar at Craft House at Corque, open Nov. 18-Jan. 4 with separate “Miracle Family” and “Miracle 21+” reservation options.
